I'm trying to narrow down what type of wagons these are but it's not looking good.

The top one strikes me as perhaps being a hay wagon. Perhaps the little railing around the edge providing a place to step as you add more hay to the pile. But that's just a complete guess. Do utility wagons have different names? That's what the others look like.

I was thinking the blue one was a hay wagon (the brown bits on top unfold to extend the sides up) but then the hooks on the green one could have been used to tie something down. I think I've seen a similar type tagged as a way wagon when I was looking the other day.

Maybe they both were, at different times.

After having a look around, I'm thinking top two more of them English type (obviously it was very fruitful research *sigh*)

I think you have a good about the heavy structure of the bottom one. Thanks :)

The flat bed wagon in the bottom photo looks like a delivery cart. I've seen them restored (and reproduced) and they usually have a basic wooden seat up at the front - one plank for back support, one plank for bum support. The one I remember was connected to the wagon by thick metal cable, though a wooden stand would also work as well. They were the sorts of wagons that would haul things like wool bales, and possibly kegs lashed tight to it, though from memory a brewery wagon would have a lip around it. You've piqued my curiosity now - I'll have to go see what I can find out!

This does make sense (esp. after Meg's comment about the heavy structure). Wool bales would makes sense too. I'll keep an eye out for similar pictures.
