Obviously not a formal park :) Not a lot of words, in fact I think I'll just have the photos with no words up until the bridge. Things to look out for: rock formations, storm water drains, artwork & the open ground along one section that's used for dog exercising and other things.

Navy films bridge disaster ghost ship

The wreck of the ship which brought down Hobart's Tasman Bridge is being explored as part of a major navy training exercise.

Never before seen vision of the Lake Illawarra has been obtained more than 30 years after it slammed into the bridge.

I guess I should not the significance of the wreck isn't in the event itself so much as what happened afterwards.

A few photos from our road trip last month, taken from the car. The eastbound highway out of Hobart is the Tasman Hwy. A short distance out, just past the airport, it becomes a causeway that runs across to a jutting out piece of land, known as Midway Point and then there's a second causeway which leads into Sorell.
