$2.20 from 7 downloads

Six of which are of http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/settings/seasons/spring/1840890_at_sea.php?id=1840890

Didn't have any downloads until the end of July. I'd stopped checking it.

Dear Sister,

If one was in interested in purchasing a camera, what advice would you give?

I think it would be good to get one, and i want it to be capable of being 'experimented' with, but it obviously would not need to be over the top.

How much was yours?

BTAW.

$400 I think. The one Nicquel bought was a "last year's model" so it was makred down $100 and I think it had something extra thrown in, like a free battery recharager. The ones I like now are $500 and upwards.

I think the most important thing is to have some idea what you mainly want to do with it. In that price range, you'll have to trade off something for something. I wanted a good zoom, for example, for taking photos of birds & things a long way off. You might be more concerned with the speed (digital cameras often have a noticable delay between pressing button & shutter operating, it can be frustrating) or resolution (esp. if you want to print them in larger sizes), or camera size (having a camera that fits in the pocket of my jeans is very handy).

Seen a lot of waterproof digital cameras around lately. I'd certainly look at getting a weatherproof one next time.
