When it's not raining, it is lovely spring weather: sunny, blue skies with fluffy white clouds and all the smell of springs (blossoms, bulbs, mown lawn). Cold of course, but the promise that it will soon be warm.
I think there were six days in August when it didn't rain, and something like 12 consecutive days of rain. Not light rain either. Most days heavy, the sort you don't want to get caught in, the sort where you put off things until it's not raining, except it always is.
There's been another week of it so far this month but the rest of the week is supposed to be fine, until the weekend.
