Local radio station breakfast show ran a competition to find the person most in need of a house cleaning, with a fancy new vacuum cleaner as a prize. You had to write in and say why you needed it. No, I didn't enter but sister did. She wanted me to take some photos to send with the entry last weekend but the conditions weren't right ;) Besides white cat hair isn't that visiable against light coloured carpet.

Part of the competitions invovled the mobile part of the team dropping by to visit the finalists. I'm told they liked Dora (the Belgian Malinois) and the cats.

Seems to me though, given that it's on the local radio station of a small city, it might not be the sort of competition you'd want to win ;) A bit of fun though.

The breakfast show people rang up the winner this morning just before 9 am. Got an aswering machine. That would be because Nicquel was at work & Troy was in bed (he works night shift). When he did come on, he did a pretty good job of sounding enthusiastic & coherent for someone who must have been woken up by the phone. I'm usually doing well to work out what the funny ringing sound is.

Tell your sis congrats! (I think)

I'd win hands down but I wouldn't let anyone in the house for fear of embarassment.

I can relate to that :|

(Most of it due to a little dog, who needs kids to have "toys" spread across the floor)

Oh, how cool, she won! I'd be so thrilled to have someone - anyone - come and clean my house!

Finally the greatness of our family is being unleashed upon the world.

Do not test us puny mortals, because we are capable of truly horrendous acts of house-messyness...

It makes me so truly proud... (sorry, that should have read ashamed).
