Managed to flood the kitchen today. Filled up the sink, left the dishes to soak and went outside to tidy up the garden. Left hot tap dripping. :|

First thought when I came back in was the washing machine in the adjoining room had overflowed and flooded half the house! Fortunately, not that bad. Mainly the cupboard under the sink and that had to be de-moused anyway. I just didn't want to do it today.

So now there's piles of drying and waiting and 'what is this doing in here' stuff all over the kitchen. But the cupboard is clean.

Also discovered the scene I thought I'd written last night needed to be longer. Which is good I guess. It wasn't working with the other stuff that was going on - the timing was off and relied a little on coincedence. The same day they arrive in the city, the person they're looking for just happens to walk past and then go into the right tavern. But now he has a couple of day to walk past & go into the right drinking place at the right time. Which isn't a coincedence either, as there are only two and the people he is looking for and the people looking for him would both this one. So it's all falling into place.

It's just a matter of remembering to listen to the characters and let them tell me what really happened.

It's nice to be able to look at the positive side of things. :)

It's nice to have a clean, ordered cupboard :)

Now I just need to flood the rest of the house and I might get somewhere :\

Sorry about the flood there

Thanks :)

I just wish I was writing a little quicker. So far it's like I'm doing 50 words a day thing you mentioned :) Which doesn't work for me, I need to do more to get motivated to continue. Momentum. No momentum. I need a steep hill.
