Some photos from Tony Robinson’s Tour of Duty at the QVMAG today. The focus of this episode is war militaria & story.

Being rent-a-crowd for a scene with military badges (widow's badge & nearest female relative bages, not uniforms ones) that were passed around the crowd, under the slightly nervous eye of their owner, in the blue there.

Would you mess with this pair?

Mcgee's Victoria Cross is the focus of the next scene, with a a discussion between his brother's great-great-grandson (right) and the military historian whose name I can't remember (David?).

Not really. He did sign a leaflet for me :) Brother-in-law had his photo taken with him.

He was in Launceston last April too, filming for an earlier series. Then we had to walk up and down and say "No transportation!". The museum thing was more fun.

OK not more "fun". Pretend protests are fun. But it was more satisfying.

That is so amazing! I'd love to be able to shake his hand someday and thank him for his interesting documentaries, and of course, for being Baldrick. <3

He's up north in May (unless you've run away from there and haven't told me :)
