Three signs from the upper end of St John St.



This first one isn't painted on the bricks.




Rusden's London House and a picture of the business. Not a small establishment.



These ones I have seen photos of elsewhere, but hadn't seen the actual things. Obviously I must walk along St John in the wrong direction.

The last one for today is on the edge of the Elizabeth St car park, on the back of (as well as I can work out) a building behind 145-147 St John St.


"Buy Super Pies & Pasties" by "Scott Signs". 91 is an Evandle/Longford area phone number. (My mother says Super Pies & Pasties have been around "for thousands of years".)



Seems to be an older one behind it too.

I love these. I especially love the range of dates (that last one is from my lifetime, for certain) and how consistently Taswegians have drunk cider across the years :).
