Do I have to be so smug about it?

I had an argument with myself this morning:

"You should go to the library today."
"I am not wasting a bus fare just to go to the library to look in a book that most likely won't have what I want."
"There are other reasons to go in."
"Like?"
Um. There might be a hold ready to pickup."
"Look, I haven't got an email to say there's one so the odds of there being a hold ready to pick are so small I'm not even going to think about it."
"There might be. Check the website."
"No. Go away. Stop bothering me abut the library."

At 4.30 pm, an email arrives saying there's a hold to pick up.
Guess who is going to the library tomorrow (when there are less buses running).
