Same as last time, but with less words because I'm tired.

There's a tent called the Shipwright's Village which had demonstrations of various skills (wrights should be the word to use there). This one is obviously showing how to make wood shavings more quickly.

Model boats in the model boat display.

There were a couple of international exhibits. The Indonesian display had some large model boats, a couple of stalls selling things and a stage out the front with dancing.

I'm thinking this was the start of the sculling race. That guy over the back

seems to be bailing out his boat with a sponge.

Parent/child boat building corner.

The boat in front was being pushed as "Tasmania's Oldest Boat", Admiral, 1865. Over the back is a house boat.

It's a sort of stage thing.

This was interesting, but I have more so photos so I'll write something about it later.

Steam boat.

Working part of steam boat.

Over the back is a replica of a 600 year old Japanese fishing boat. I have more photos for later too.

Last thing before I went back to the hostel for the evening, I wandered up and took this photo, because I didn't feel like going back later for a photo.
