So now I go back to grumbling about lack of technological development in communications in my futuristic world. Or lack of writer imagination.
I don't think they'll have all in one phone-computer-notebook devices, because that's what we're doing now.
What I do have for is two types of portable phones, one that just sends/receieves voice calls on a limited network (cheap & robust) and the standard one that, well, is like a contempory mobile (voice calls, text messages, directory) but without all the bells & whistles; and notebooks that are small portable computers. Bah.
