I'm sure I had a good reason for putting the cut of end of the cucumber into the freezer.

And the unopened tin of mushrooms into the fridge.

Putting things in the fridge is fairly common (I usually check in there when I can't find my wallet). Puttings things destined for the rubbish into the freezer is a new one though.
