xenithThe site the museum occupies at Inveresk used to the old railway workshops. So one of their exhibits is the Blacksmith Shop.
From the brochure: the blacksmith shop is a series of buildings built between 1909 & 1937, and remained in operation until the site closed in 1994. Some of the items produced include tools, hooks and springs, made with hand tools or mechanical hammers.
The first photo inside is one of the forges (a workstation that included an anvil & tool rack).
