Camera Comparison
Feb. 5th, 2007 07:18 pmTook the borrowed camera for a walk today, to see if I could get an idea of how it goes. After some thought, it seemed sensible to walk a route that I'd photographed before. That is, the Olde Seaport, through Royal Park, up to Gorge. Once I've looked through them, I'll some of the better ones.
However, in the Quadrant Mall there is a fountain.
That figure on top, I have tried a number of times to take a decent photo of it. Because I'm there on the way home, I'm shooting into the sun. With a nearby building behind it, I can get something acceptable. With sky behind it, I just get a dark blur. So it seemed a good subject for a comparison test.
