Moving ahead
Dec. 4th, 2005 11:08 pmWrote 1500 words/2 scenes for Magic today. Which (as those who I've been grumbling to will know) is the most I've been able to type still I started working on it. This is the second time I've tried to rewrite this novel and I'm closing to stalling on it again.
I am hope that if I keep at it until I get to the more interesting later chapters then it'll get easier. By 'more interesting' I mean the bit where it took off when I originally wrote it and the bits that I haven't read to death. I don't think, for a reader coming to it cold, that the earlier chapters are any less interesting. Or mabye they are. This is what alpha readers are for.
On top of those 1500 words, I also had to do some research. Costumes. *bah* I'm quite sure I did this when I wrote the first draft, the sites & explanations seem vaguely familiar but, of course, I can't remember any of that.
And then there's the food & dancing for the next scene/s.
