(no subject)

My characters are trying to write me into corners.

Rather than going to the tavern, where they are going to run into the person they're trying to meet, they've decided to sit on the ship and wait for him to walk past on his way home.

.....

So I slipped over to the other supposed-to-be-converging plotline and had them decide to go and get a cup of tea at the new tea rooms and then go home a different way. Ha!

Although the throws off the timing of events but if I split this scene and combine part of it with an earlier one... Consecutive events in different places are annoying. Actually, they're consecutive events in almost the same place, which is worse :)

Nearly there though...
