Went to the show today. Cost $12 to get in.
I think whoever designed the layout was trying to outdo the previous years for poorest design. They got rid of the building that last year had the government displays, the food hall & the cottage industries. The first of two of these were now spread among the tents just inside the entrance, wrapped around the stadium, along with with the people selling cheap looking important stuff & showbags.
Then there was a big gap for the equestrian events, including the warm up ring,

then the side shows & show bags

This was rather quiet, customerwise, plenty of too loud music. I think everyone who went on Thursday (the holiday) went home & told their friends how crappy it was, so they didn't bother to go.
On the far side of the side shows, were the cattle

andsheep alpacas.

In the middle of the stadium

was the dog exhibition. Met my sister here & wewatched the judging waited for the rain to clear.

Then we went down to the the change rooms under the stadium, and looked the cats & cottage industries.

Then went back to sister's place. Should have just done that and saved $12.
