Slow progress, because I have to stop and look things up (like what is it about the topsail schooner being chase that will make it look fast? But didn't I spend a few hours looking this up before and why do I keep doing all this research for a line of dialogue? Because this is where I learn new & interesting stuff, that can be used at other times & expands ones knowledge, like firepistons, which are rather cool but irrelevant to the novel at hand)
