It hasn't even been a year since my last/first post. I thought it'd been longer.

It does occur to me that I could do posts from here and have them automatically crosspost to LJ. That might make more sense, but I think it's the same two people reading in both places so that makes less sense.

I'm trying to shift my reading/commenting to DW, as LJ has been acting abysmally, so I'd welcome it nonetheless. The crossposting is quick and painless, and it's nice to see more activity on DW.

The problem for me in using DW is I upload my images to the LJ gallery and the process of getting them "back" involves creating an LJ post so I'd be creating an LJ post, them copying them to DW to crosspost back to LJ. Which is getting a bit silly.

OTOH I wouldn't mind having a hosting site for the photos that I don't have to pay for, so I might look into other options, once I'm done with this "series".

I love Flickr, which makes it easy to embed pictures & previews. The free account has certain limits, but I find it _much_ easier to use than LJ's galleries. Not in the least because there are various uploaders that make it much faster to upload and tag images.
