A change in the weather

Monday day I woke up to hear it raining. Yah. Then on & off through Tuesday.3mm according to the BOM website. 3 mm?? I'm sure they keep the rain gauge inside.

It was supposed to rain late today too. Maybe to night.

However, it's turned cold. Shiver. Cold. Need to buy a jumper or something to wear to work :(

That would explain a lot. I've been in that have filled a 12 oz (355mL) drinking cup in minutes only to hear later that yeah we got nearly 1/2 an inch (12mm) of rain for the whole day! Now i'll admit that the cup isn't 100% accurate as it's larger at the top (slightly) than the bottom, but we're it's not that far off.

If you want it done right, do it yourself! There are a lot of inexpensive gauges out there and several not too pricey weather stations too. And of course you can always make you own... (http://www.fi.edu/weather/todo/todo.html)
