Customised kit: viking longship

There was a table of large scale buildings of the world (see first photo). This is the American White House.

Most of the displays were kits. This kit (Imperial Flagship #10210) will only cost you $600 on Ebay.





The best models are the ones with things happening when you look closely.









Why didn't they have kits like this when we were kids?





Now these kits were what we had. Not these particular ones (the police and fire stations were different models) but same series.
