Lots of lights

So I was given lighthouses as a theme. I don't actually have many photos of lighthouses. They tend to be in remote places and I don't.

The first one then is Low Head, at the mouth of the Tamar. More photos here of the other buildings and the leading lights further down the river.

This seems to be the only photo I have of the Mersey Bluff lighthouse at Devonport. Built 1889.

The leading light along the Mersey River at Devonport (I think there use to two but the other was replaced with something more modern.)

Ulverstone, moved from the river to the local history museum.

Table Cape...

At Stanley, another relocation. From Highfield? Now it's a memorial to sailors and you can look through the windows at the little displays.

One of the displays (with bonus squirrel). There is a another occurrence of Squirrel in these photos too.

Iron Pot at the mouth of the Derwnt, on the approach to Hobart. Another view.

In a bit closer.

And to finish, the two light houses at Hells Gates, at the mouth of Macquarie Harbour. Built 1890s.
