This is how it goes:

I finish my 2500 words for the day, and it's the middle of the afternoon and if I get to 3000 I can have another lollipop. So I put some numbers into the spreadsheet and work out it wouldn't hurt to do some 3K days.

So I do that, and now I have 5640 words total. Which is an ugly number. 6000 is nicer, and it's about 300 words away, and that will only be an average of 3K per day.

So I'll do those extra few words. And then?

I have write-ins to attend, so I need to have words left to write at them. But that's on the 25th so as long as I don't finish before the 25th I'm fine.

(I told them I am writing exactly 50000 word. Not a word more or less.)

:) Once the long weekend (we have a long weekend this weekend, just to have a long weekend) it'll be easier. More to do. Less writing time.
