The Dutch barque Europa. Originally built in 1911 as a lightship and later adapted to be a tall ship. Along with two of the other visitors, she's one an around the world trip.

Order of photos is roughly: starting on top of the deckhouse (in the centre), up to the bow (right side here), down and along the port side of the deckhouse, then up towards the stern. Got it?

So, this is above the deckhouse looking forward.

Down a level now.

See the work bench, with the vise.

Entrance to deckhouse. (Galley to the right.)

Inside.

Looking out.

Now, further along the deck, looking back the way I've come

Resuming the circuit. There's another ladder to the right there.

See.

I think this should be the quarterdeck but that doesn't feel right. Probably because I think of it as a navy term. We'll call it that for now, because it's easiest. The ladder up is where that kid is, then the... let's call it the bridge, then the red companion and the wheel is behind me.

I want to call it the bridge because....

There was always a kid hanging off the wheel. It must have been sprayed with some sort of attractant.

These photos from the wharf, when I take them, they're just a bunch of ships bits, but when I look at them after being on the ship, I can pick out the things I looked at.
