Hobart Trip: Day 2 Evening

Day 1: Afternoon
Day 1: Evening
Day 1: Night
Day 2: Morning
Day 2: Afternoon
ETWA (Whale Appearance Time) is 5-7 pm, so we head out just after 4 pm to check if Zee is working and to see Spectra being lit. Yeah, at the same time. It happens with third-person plural.

4.34 pm when I took this photo. It gets dark early, and today is the Winter Solstice.

Not working say the Beam people. And some pink clouds over the eastern shore

Walking up to the Regatta Ground now, and there's some more pink clouds to the north.

Hmmm

Spectra is nearby in case you'd forgotten about it

Sun setting behind the Mountain.

I'll note that standing under the balloon beast as it's descending is a bit worrying. It shakes and if it collapsed, that's a lot of balloon overhead.

About this point the camera decided it'd had enough and it wasn't possible to focus on anything, and if it doesn't focus, it doesn't take photos. Hateful thing.
However, there is spectra in the background. Hmm...

But camera didn't want to play so this is the best I managed to get :(

It took a lot of attempts to get a photo with the mountain behind so you might like to stop and admire it :)

However, it is getting late (says camera) and we have a timetable to meet tonight so time to leave.

So one last photo :)

We're heading back across to the Winter Feast to grab something to eat and then catch a bus.
