Just doing two posts to get the park section done, so I can get to the interesting bit.
Google maps link.

So that's where I left off. Well, back at that bridge (McFarlane St).

The path comes in away from the rivulet here, but there's a car park that follows the route that I want to take, so I go that way instead.

See, car park. (Bored? What makes you think that?)

Between the car park and the watercourse, there is a Danger Zone!

It's not particularly interesting anyway. Part of the work seems to involve removing the willows.

I don't think I noticed what was sitting on/in this stump at the time, or I would have taken closer photos.

Still boring, but the trees on the bank are interesting. Apple trees, which are easy to identify in March on account of them having apples on them and around them.

If you look back now, there's a row of apple trees along the bank. The building is the C3 Church, C3 Convention Centre & Rivulet Cafe, and the centre point I used for the Google link above.

Backtracking a little to other side of the three stumps and construction area fencing, to show the next bridge.

But first a word from... That's a bit of information about the construction work, and how it will make the world a better place.

So that's Anglesea St bridge, and the South Hobart Primary School is up there on the left. The usual older foundations. I think this bridge has been (or is being) rebuilt since this photo was taken too.

Interesting things going on in the trees to the left, well I assume so, it's hard to see. Also some places where it seems the wire fence is the only thing stopping the hill from falling onto the path.

Another bridge!

This one is Weld Street, where Dogs Lead (probably a surprise to those dogs who assume they lead everywhere)

Standing on the bridge, that is the path ahead. A more interesting bit

but I shall leave it there, ready for next time.
