Giant spiders webs & burning pianos

These are from back in February when I went down to Hobart overnight to look at wooden boats and things. I was walking back towards the bus depot, and as you probably don't remember, I was tired and my feet hurt, but I had some more photos I wanted to take before I went to the bus

so I was walking up Campbell St, past this old church, and wondering why there's a photo of a burning piano out the front

when this strange guy steps out of the doorway and says "Do you want to have a look inside?" And I said what anyone says when a strange guy standing on the steps of an old church asks you if you want to go inside, "Oh. Sure."
Inside the door there was a table with a bowl and a sign asking for a "gold coin donation", and a black curtain. On the other side of the black curtain

was a GIANT SPIDER'S WEB.

It was over two storeys (that's the upper level through there)

and right up to the ceiling.

"You can take photos," the strange guy said. Camera was less certain. Windowless building. Giant spider's web making it hard to focus on anything. Nope. Not going to play today.

I went up these stairs to see if strange guy would stop following me, and he did.

Also camera conceded it might be able to take a photo of the church wall. That's the edge of the stairs running across the window.

Upstairs there was a seat where you could sit and contemplate giant webs and pianos.

That's the piano down there. The red bit is under the lid and the white near the bottom of the photo is the keyboard. I was going to lighten the photo but that felt like cheating.
I think that bit on the opposite side was where the video bit was.

Video bit. Sometimes it's better not to ask.

Close up of GIANT SPIDER'S WEB.
I escaped then, after putting in a silver coin donation (having used up all my gold coins on ships earlier that day) and went off to take photos of Wapping.
