The Bark Mill Museum is on the side of a former bark mill (bet you couldn't guess that). There's also a tavern, bottlshop & bakery cafe which is a nice place to stop for a snack. Unless a coach load of tourist descend on the place at the same time, but I was in the museum bit when that happened.

Just a few photos because the light was bad and I couldn't be fussed getting camera to cooperate. Also, more interesting when you actually see them than as small, still images.

A bark mill obviously produces bark.

Here the bark is being rammed into bags. It says so on the card there.

I think was the portable bark mill. There's a lot of bark piled up alongside so that makes it likely.

There was also a flour mill on the site and the top card says "Equipment from Morey's Flour mill." The bottom card says "This equipment is part of the fine dust filter system of the bark mill." So take your pick.

It's also a social history museum. This is a look through the window at the kitchen display. Or it might be a workers' cottage, because there's a living area to the left.

Lots of tools and stuff on the walls. Displays from different industries like whaling, of which there was a lot on the east coat but I think I never actually mentioned it? A case of stone tools which the camera didn't like. An A/V production on the mill. Lots of photos. Lots of stuff. Needed more time to take it all in.

This, if I read the very blurry sign correctly, is a thresher. Of grain, I assume.
