Coal River Valley

On the final stage of this trip, we leave Richmond heading north towards the Midlands Heritage Highway. Unfortunately, it is starting to get dark.

This is Campania. It's one of those small towns you don't usually take much notice of as you pass through. If you'd asked me if there was a pub or shop I'd have said, No.


The Original General Store on the right, and Campania Tavern on the left.

That's the pub on the left in the previous photo.







Approaching Colebrook now, the other town along this road. If town is the right word.

This photo was taken last November. It snuck in.

Craigbourne Dam, also taken last November so it has a little water in it.

I think we go the right here.
