Yesterday!

And it's open!
The new governor, I didn't know there was a new governor until I read the flyer for this a few days ago. It's a good thing I didn't go to any trivia competition recently.

The whole thing was rather quiet. There were a few stalls.

How could you not stop here and have a look? (And buy something!)

There were some other things going on in different parts of the grounds.

Like the model train displays in the semi-basement. (Most of the years, it's just the basement, but today it was a semi-basement. OK technically it is a semi-basement but still...)

One of the advertised events was the "Australian Carriage Driving Society’s Concour d’elegance"

I did like this one, but black and black didn't want to come out very well.

Now this guy was lovely to watch, showy action and head up. They won whatever competition I was watching at the time.

OK the horses were interesting :)

The Morris dancers, with the bells on their legs, we could hear them in different places all day. They got around.

This was the best smile I could get.

This guy turned up when everyone was packing up. Although there were still enough onlookers that by the time they cleared, the light was bad for photos.
