My little dog, Cocoa, had a couple of minor strokes when she was in her middle teen years. Vet never could figure out what caused them. She recovered kind of slow from the first one (took her about a month to get back up to her usual mischief) and the second one she basically shook off pretty quickly (had a collapse, one leg went spare on her for a couple of days and then she was back up and moving around almost as good as new). We think she finally died (in her sleep, at age 22) from another stroke. She was a very active little teacup poodle who thought she was a Rottie and had the heart of a St. Bernard.
I hope Jaz recovers just as quick and has many more years of making your life entertaining and adventurous in that way that only JRTs can. :)
