Went to buy a new pen today. Spent 10 mins checking all pens in the shop, to find one that was right -- gel or liquid ink, thick barrel, thickish nib, padding around the bit you hold. One nice one but 4.50 is too much for a disposable.

Finally find one that seemed good. Solid coloured too. Test it on the test paper. All good.

Bought it. Got it to use and it's too thin & faint. Bah.

Oh, you're like me. I'm a pen snob. It has to be blue ink, and the tip can't be too hard. I like the big ones with a soft grip, but my handwriting seems to prefer the old fashioned clear-case Bics (or is it Papermate?)

I love gobby ink too. Splotches and trails and inky hands are the best!
