May. 9th, 2011 08:46 pmI was going to say I've decided my website needs a major overhaul but I've thought this for a long time. Somewhere about the time I started giving here as my website address rather than the domain.
Problem is, to make the sort of change I want, I need some sort of inspiration about a new design, and that I have not.
Anyway, tonight I was looking into what pages get used, and what searches bring people there.
Pretty much what I thought, other than the cows*. Almost half of my visitors are looking for information on spelling variations and most of the rest are looking for Tasmanian history, churches and similar stuffand cows. Which obviously surprised me. Really.
So now I have some idea about what to keep when I redo the website. Also, based on the keyboard searches, I really need to write something about Tasmanian bushrangers ;)
Still no inspiration for a new design though.
*The third most visited page, but for no apparent reason.
