I shall be a fun person today
Dec. 25th, 2008 06:54 amI'm up until 3 to midnight doing things last night. This puts me into the 'more awake' more of my sleep awake so (combined with stupid humidity) I can't sleep.
I get up again at 1 am and finally get back to bed at 3, hoping I don't sleep in too late to be able to catch the 11.30 am bus to the park.
So at what time does my inner clock decide it is "Time to get up! Now! It's late! You won't have time to catch bus!!!"
6.47 am.
Gah. I slept longer on Christmas Eve when I was a kid (we were allowed to get up once the sun had come up e.g. 5.30 am)
(BOM tell me it's currently 13o outside with 91% humidity. They're promisng 22oC (72 F) and fine. Perfect for lunch in the park, and the only fine day in the middle of "a few showers" and "light rain" stretching in both directions.)
Merry Christmas/post-Solstice/wintery/summery things. I'm going back to bed :)
(To wake up at 11.30, arck)
