This leave me with 7 chapters and 13 days. That's more doable.
Although I'm worried there's not enough justification given for what they're about to do (leave Nate behind *sniff*). Or maybe too much.
I could reverse the scenes and have them leave before he wakes up, but then he'd have to come to trust the people he's staying with and, that's just another complication in a book that is getting a tad too long as is it. It might be the better way to do it though. (Shall see what readers think.)
