Buying things
May. 15th, 2006 11:27 pmSpecifically,
dogbane from the nursery at the hardware shop, where they haven't got chrysanthemum marked down yet, guess they wait until they've stopped flowering; it's stinky stuff, says it repels dogs but I note she's still around
cinnamon stick, ginger & cloves, for tea making, but I haven't got cardamon yet, which is necessary, supermarket didn't have it in the packets and the jars cost twice as much
book about stream gardening, that is, putting running water into your garden, which would be handy if I had a garden to put running water into, but I like those sort of books; bought with 1/2 a voucher I had
and a 10-trip bus ticket, although that's not that interesting.
