Latest development in Gunns' lawsuit is interesting.
Gunns are the timber company. I think they're the biggest company in Tasmania. Or might as well be. They're suing about 20 environmentalists/environmental groups because they're hurting the company's business.
Anyway, in the Supreme Judge struck out the company's statement of claim and gave them a month to file a new one.

"Justice Bongiorno said large parts of the statement of claim were either unintelligible or understandable only after what he said would be the most careful and painstaking analysis.
He said the extensive use of cross-referencing rendered some parts ambiguous at best and at worst misleading.'
Ambiguous at best and at worst misleading? Sounds a bit like certain advertising campaigns.
