Well, that was a fun scene.

"Because it's an outsider's word, imposed on my people by ignorant humans who believe they have some inherent superiority because there are more of them and they have big guns." Ross smiled, showing his teeth. "They also taste good."

He's been wanting to say that for ages. I didn't realise it would be this scene but I'm not complaining. I did think the scene would never end though.

It's interesting, when I go back to my original document, so see how the changes from the rewrite have rippled through things. At the point I'm at now, the action should follow the action of the first draft and, I think it mostly will, but the character motivation, interactions, reactions are all going to be very different.

Also at a point where I want to be done with it and yet there seems to be so much more to happen. Not really. One more Drama, there's been two Dramas so far. I know there's a better term for that. Where things build up to a climax point, then that's resolved, only to find it's created more problems. Peaks.
