Saturday & Sunday as well
Mar. 6th, 2005 06:43 pmEnded up staying at sister's place last night. Our plan being to hit Eco-Salv in the morning, this being the place to buy recycled building supplies & stuff. We went there to get something to display the magnets for the market stall on. We came home with a pile of records, a couple of videos, a picture frame & a stack of mugs.
The intent was there ;) We did find a potentially useful strip of metal guttering? that would be great if it was cut in half. Unfortunately, we seemed to have left the all-purpose-pocket-knife-with-the-metal-cutting-blade at home.
Also found out one of the TV stations is playing the Star Wars movies over the next few weeks, well episodes 1,4,5 & 6; starting last night with the Phantom Merchandiser. Which wasn't as bad as I remembered. Although I guess it couldn't have been as bad as I remembered. (insert usual grumble about how easily it could have been so much better) So what do they think 'bring balance to the force' means anyway?
Still, I think maybe I might almost look forward to the next one. I do know I want one of those posters, if I can find somewhere to buy one (feel free to jump in here with a recommendation for a reliable online source of movie posters that doesn't charage a gazillion dollars for postage). Even looked on the Official Site where I found a rather cool looking poster of, I guess that counts as a spoiler even if we can all guess what will happen. Still, silhouettes & light sabers do make for cool images.
