Undisorder
Jan. 21st, 2005 11:27 pmSo I need a herbal for the work in process.
We have something that is a pain reliever that lasts longer than another and a third that is better but stains. There's the abortifacient thing and the thing that helps you sleep without dreams, except that's a mixture of things. There's the fine black leaves that are addictive. So far. I keep losing track of these things and the names suck. OK they're botty names so they don't so much suck as never fit. Ladybalm is a perfectly good name for a herb, just not what I want.
Then I need to sit down and work out the place names. You can only get by with filler names for so long. Not to mention get the spelling consistent before adding the names to the dictionary.
And the map. What I need is software that will take approximate squiggles and make them look like landforms, or even better, let me scan in squiggles and make them look like landforms. I usually use the Civ II map editor but that's better when I don't know what the land masses look like to start with. Maybe I can have another play with Autorealm and get the hang of it.
At least I have world/country level programs, not like towns/cities.
