Yah. And I think I wore botty out with midnight coutdowns. One to go.
I guess I should do the obligatory look back at the year. So what did I do?
DID FOR THE FIRST TIME: Hmm. This?
Had a stall at the market, many times, also sold fruit & veges at the work monthly market. I like this stall things, as long as it's not 4 in 3 weeks.
Made plum puddings. That was fun.
Made the computers at work in a network, which rather pleased me & replaced power source in home computer. And hooked up the stereo to the computer. Things I didn't really think I'd be able to do easily.
THINGS I'VE WANTED TO DO FOR A LONG TIME: Walked/climbed the zig-zag track with my nan & her sister. Bought a digital camea.
BOUGHT: Ooh. The DVD player & the TV & the (old) stereo. The camera, of course.
TRAVELLED: to Canberra for sukcy convention, but Mint & War Museum & city generally were fun. And New Norfolk, for work convention. And many trips to Hobart, of course.
WRITING: wrote three novel first drafts, made a significant start on rewriting one & finished a short story.
NOT SO GOOD THINGS: Quitting ASIM but I went back. Leaving Thylacon committee. :( but it was too hard not being in Hobart.
ANYTHING ELSE? Got into this coin collecting things seriously. Started volunteering at the museum.
THIS YEAR... I don't like resolutions, they're never kept but I realised I had made one and that is to send out a story *somewhere* every fortnight. I originally went for weekly but I think the overseas postage is going to be a bit much for that.
I am also going to finish another novel, probably the prequel to Treasure. Not the most marketable but it's the one that currently wants to be rewritten and I need to get something done.
And get a job that pays properly so I can get a car (and the Other Stuff).
