Interview with trapped miners

From the TV interview last night, which I didn't watch, but the news stories make for interesting reading.
"Mr Russell, 34, and Mr Webb, 37, were speaking publicly for the first time since their dramatic rescue which sparked elation around Australia.
"They said they had made a pact to take messages to each other's families should only one of them live. In the absence of writing paper they also scribbled letters to their loved ones in biro on their overalls and their arms. But some of these were washed off by a combination of trickling water and sweat in their sweltering underground prison."
