xenithNow there's one way to get a break from election campaigning -- explode a bomb about an embassy. Which makes the talking heads on TV ask: was the bombing in Jakarta intended to coincide with an election campaign, and if so, which one? Indonesian election in 10 days or Australia's in 30.
Late night current affairs shows are rather boring but being as it's an hour after I wanted to go to bed, I don't want. All bloody day I'm tired until it gets to bedtime and then I'm not. This is getting very old, very fast :(
Spent today at Westbury, went along with the holuday activities bunch. We went to the maze there (a tall, hedge type, rather well done, when you're near the middle the path goes to the outside (making you think you're a long way off) and on the way out, it runs past the platform in the middle so you think you've gone the wrong way, when you're just a few turns from the exit). After that we went to "Animal Haven" which is a bunch of animals (rabbits, goatds, a sheep, pigs, wombat, donkeys, emus and more goats) that the kids get to wonder around and feed. Wasn't too bad -- it's baby season and they had tiny kids -- but rather wet underfoot and overhead at one point. The day started off lovely (not too cold, not too warm and very still) but it started to rain later. Feet got cold and I was tired.
Yesteray I went to auctin. That was good but fingers are getting too tired for now. So, thatmight do until later.
