Crash, bang

xenithYesterday was hot and threatening to rain all day.
Possibly why I didn't sleep that well last night. Kept waking up and not knowing where I was. Or was I still asleep? Wanting to check out the window or the door to make sure I was in my own bed.
At 1 am, the storm broke. Rolling thunder, heavy, pounding rain and constant sheet lighting out all windows. Flash, flash, flash, not letting up. I could have read by it if I'd bothered.
I did wander around the house without the lights on. Maybe not wonder. Sort of dived into the other bedroom to pull the power on the computer.
More today, they say.
