Replacement for sucky bit I pasted before:
Nate eyed off the mirror. He wasn't convinced that the young man reflected there was really him. The reflection was dressed in a pale blue silk shirt and with trousers made from wool, at least Lettie had said so. Nate wasn't sure about that either. They felt too fine.
He reached out towards the reflection's face to see if it responded.
"Keep still," Lettie said, and tapped her brush on his shoulder.
