Sheep dog trials, Agfest

There's three different dogs here. The sheep seemed particularly stroppy. We decided either they were sneaking the same three sheep around and reusing them each time, or they go around during the year searching farms for difficult sheep.




That dog is about to run into the fence, which ended its turn.





There you have three sheep who are not about to run in the same direction.



The sheep on the left kept stamping her foot at the dog. (That's a sheep's warning signal, or a challenge, depending on the situation.)


That's Dog #3. Its supposed to get the sheep between the fences and up the ramp. Those two sheep facing the dog have no intention of going that way.



Again, no way that sheep is going up the ramp, and the other two will follow.



This time they went in. I know this because it's the last photo I took. Everyone watching clapped, and then we moved on.
