Aw, baby sheepie! I love sheep, and lambs especially. I've reared a few on the bottle and they always thought I was "mum". Having a yearling sheep try to climb on one's lap is quite an experience:-).
Mostly he justed wanted to play, but charging in and butting me on the shin (except for the one time he brought his head up and caught my knee cap). I always kept a fence between me and him, and carried a spade to hit him on the head with.
(When we did put in with with a couple of ewes, he tried to mount them the side, the silly thing, but he must have worked it out eventually because two lambs turned up in our backyard some time later.)
