Pretty picture books, a box of them

Books full of scenic views are very nice, but they don't usually have dates in them. But these things can be guessed from the photos.

"When was the town hall extended?"
"Kings bridge built?" "First or second span?"
"Union bank?"
"Park gates?"
"Hobart post office?"
"Franklin monument?"
"Waddamana power station?"'
"Does the post office have its clock?"

"These aren't even photos. They're drawn from photos. Or maybe not even that."
"She's wearing a bustle?"
"I can't see the fire tower."
"Zeehan was big then."
"Strahan doesn't change. It looks like that now."
"1940s cars."
"That says Brisbane St. I'm glad it says Brisbane St or I wouldn't have picked it."
"That's the Launceston College building there, but it's not in that one."
"Perth Bridge?" "That one washed about in the big flood."
"That's before the bush fires, the buildings are all intact."
"Those fashions look later. They might not be. Cars are easier to date than fashions."
"Mt Barrow Rd was opened 1940."
"Western Junction was developed during the war, but before that?"
"That's new Duck Reach station, oh, no it's not."
"Ritchies Mill doesn't have its silo." "It must have." "Nope, see." "It's just the angle of the road." "It should be THERE." "They photoshopped it out." "Why would they photoshop that out?" "Maybe Ritchies didn't pay their photo bill."
"That's Sydney. It says so on the cover."

My eyes hurt.
