Me and things around me.

News is still full of election results, but other stuff is sneaking in because there are only so many ways to say "We want to wait until all the votes have been counted even if this takes 10-14 days". The predicted final result is 10 seats to Labor, 10 to the Libs and 5 to the Greens (currently it's 9-9-4) with whoever ends up with the highest % of votes forming the Government (most likely Liberal) but guy who's name no one can remember the governor might have a say in it too. Like I said before the election, all rather interesting.

I haven't really been doing much Yesterday we went out to Evandale with some intention of having garage sale but it rained. So instead we went to the market in the rain. In the afternoon, we went to the Heritage Fair at Franklin House in the sun. Must be autumn :) I say we, because it was me, my sister and b-i-l and one of the kids. )We traded one for the other in between.) Not at all a bad way to spend a Sunday.

I'm about a month into my library tech course. The afternoons session, so far, has been about, um, doing web searches. Gah. The problem is not so much that I already know most of this, as there are always new tricks to learn, but early last year I reached a point where I was just plain fucking sick of them. Between the museum and private research, that seemed to be all I was doing and it was wearing a hole in my brain :(

Haven't been spending as much time on the Grad Dip as I should be, but I have stopped pretending it doesn't exist, which is good.

Still stressing out about both of them, which I wish I would stop, Not helped because I, um, haven't been back to doctors this year to get prescriptions renewed. Will is probably a recipe for disaster.

I am currently living in Boxland. I think I mentioned elsewhere that I going through cupboards, and sorting stuff to keep/get rid of. These means there are half-filled boxes EVERY WHERE and it takes me quite a while just to go the kitchen. Even leaving this room is a maze. But it'll be good once it's done.

WIP is progressing, if slowly. I just want to get it done so I can start working on something publishable have someone more civilised in my head feel like I am actually getting somewhere.

Also, clear with sparkly bits nail polish doesn't stop me picking it off but it does stop me compulsively repairing chipped bits and removed bits. Now if I could just find clear polish in a colour I like.... :)
