For the Middle Kingdom Egypt unit I am doing the lectures are provided as a set of slides (Powerpoint presentation) + audio files (mp3). I like this. It engages two senses, it's more active & there's less bloody reading. Much more effective at getting info into the brain than straight reading.
Unfortunately, I wanted to do some work on my novel. Specifically replacing the setting stuff that I took out. This is not a good thing to do when your brain is fully of Ancient Egypt.
So I have to empty it.
